Mad Cowford Improv Comedy -

Our comedy shows are filled with high-energy, fast-paced, improvisation games based upon your suggestions. Our signature comedy improv show is similar to Who's Line is it Anyway? except that it is live and in 3D! We have some of the best actors, improvisers, and comedians at Mad Cowford and all we need is you and your brilliant suggestions. We've been packing the house every Friday night with this incredible show. Performances at NorthStar Substation 119 East Bay Street.

Art Walk -

Produced by Downtown Vision, Inc., First Wednesday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour that combines astounding visual and live art, engaging events and more in the core of Downtown Jacksonville. Voted "Best Art Walk" in Folio Weekly's Best of Jax 2011, and "Best Artsy Event" and "Best Place to Meet New People" in Jacksonville Magazine's Best of Jax 2011, the First Wednesday Art Walk is an art extravaganza seven years and counting.

Held each month from 5-9 p.m. - rain or shine - Art Walk spans a 15-block radius within the Downtown core. With 30 to 40 galleries, museums, cultural venues, restaurants, bars and businesses participating each month and dozens of artists in the open air Hemming Plaza, Art Walk is the ultimate opportunity to savor and support Jacksonville's deep pool of creative talent.

The Players Championship -

The renovated course was a big hit. So was the sprawling new clubhouse that's nearly twice as big as the White House. Throw in K.J. Choi claiming the crystal trophy, and 2011 THE PLAYERS Championship was one to remember. Future dates: May 7 - 13, 2012.

Riverside Arts Market -

Every Saturday from 10am-4pm

Located beneath the sheltering expanse of the Fuller Warren Bridge structure, the weekly Riverside Arts Market. The weekly Riverside Arts Market features the work of up to 160 artists, musical entertainment, street performers, food vendors, and a fresh produce market!

RAM offers a dependable and affordable marketplace for artists to sell their artwork in a delightful environment that serves as an inexpensive weekend storefront for their creative efforts. Come by foot, bike, car, boat, or Riverside Trolley. Admission and parking are free, and the fun is endless!

The Jacksonville Suns start their 50th anniversary of baseball in Jacksonville on April 5th, 2012 at 7:05 PM against the Huntsville Stars at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The full 2012 schedule has been released and is posted online at jaxsuns.com. All game times given are subject to change.In 1962, the Cleveland Indians moved their International League team from Havana, Cuba to Jacksonville, Florida and the Suns were born.

This year the Suns will honor 50 great years in the City of Jacksonville. Of the Suns 140 games, 70 of them will be held at the Baseball Grounds including a total of 33 weekend games, 13 fireworks shows and 7 Fifty-cent Family Feast Tuesdays. The Suns also play at home on Easter Sunday, Memorial Day and on July 3rd in Celebration Mr. Bragan's 89th Birthday with a pre-July 4th firework special!
